Opening ceremony of the 2017 Southern Division Police Youth Sports Tournament at the ANZ Complex... a joint initiative of the Fiji Police Force Community Policing Southern Division and the Fiji National Sports Commission and other key stakeholders including MYS, Vodafone, Courts Fiji Ltd, Colour Marketing, Blue Gas, Digicel, Crest Chicken and Fiji Ports. Acting Minister of Youth and Sports Osea Naiqamu Chief Guest at the opening stressed Government's support towards Youth development both in education and youth ministry claiming the biggest chunk of government budget. Great start to the week thanks to the Youths and children from the Tacirua community driven and organised by Fiji National Sports Commission. Special mention and Thank you to FNSC Development Officer Miss Elesi Ikanidrodro for your hardwork and continuous support and passion for sport in our community.
The NRL Fiji Team enjoyed conducting basic League for Life skills to the young participants and also coached some key fundamentals of Rugby League, but mostly focusing on FUN and providing all with a positive rugby league experience.
We believe everyone deserves an opportunity to try out all sports and would like to encourage all communities to engage and come give it a GO!

Train of Trainer 3 day workshop Program ( Monday 11 - 13 Dec, 2017) for the Central Urban Youth Lami Cluster - 10 Urban Communities in conjunction with the Community Policing through Fiji Police and the MOY&S was opened by the Assistant Minister of Youth and Sport Honorable Iliesa Delana on Monday 11th December, 2017. Selected Community youth from Delainvesi, Suvavou, Lami Koro, Qawia, Wailekutu, Veisari, Kalekana, Valenicina, Nadonumai and Matanisivaro are been trained as trainers and leaders in SIC, and key personnel for the introduction of different sports in their youth clubs.
